METARWatch 2.0
What is it?METARWatch is a Mozilla (i.e., Firefox) extension that periodically checks the weather at your selected airports. The weather is displayed in the statusbar of the browser, and is color-coded based on the current flight rule.
How do I use it?- Install this extension
- Click on the statusbar to open the simple pop-up menu.
- Open the Options and Settings dialog by clicking on the title of the menu (the top line).
- Enter the ICAO code for the stations you want to monitor
- Check/uncheck the alert boxes as you prefer
- Observe results in the statusbar

Click anywhere on the METARWatch extension...
Click on the top line of the menu to open the settings dialog...
Click on the raw METARS to open the decoder...
Alerts pop-up whenever conditions change...
